We are on Week 2 of the Sew Happy Sew Along from Fat Quarter Shop and this week we did letters S, e, and w.
I finally got with the program and got organized somewhat. I added another smaller design board (light green border) to hold all of the pieces of the letters. Sorry, but I forgot to get a picture before I stitched them. I used a larger design board to hold all the inside border pieces that surround the letters and space them apart. Here is A – K (aqua border).
Then I chose my fabrics for the remainder of the project.

The piecing instructions are on page 3.
I can’t tell you how much fun I’m having with this! It’s quick, it’s easy, and I finished this top portion while listening to Anna from Quilt Roadies talk about her recent retreat on YouTube. Total relaxation my friends!
