Lori Holt’s Chicken Salad Quilt

Starting Feb 14, 2022 – and right on schedule with Lori Holt, I’ll be making the Chicken Salad Quilt. Too fun! I’ll be following right along on schedule with Lori Holt’s blog.

If you’d like to use Lori’s latest fabric line, it is Cook Book, which is very reminiscent of her grandmother’s aprons and kitchen. I’m also using some of her Shabby and Solids to bring down the busyness just a tad.

I’ll be tracing around the Chicken Simple Shapes on printer paper and then scanning in the paper into the ScanNCut (link below). I’ll use the SNC to cut out the shapes (backed with HeatNBond Lite) and then I’ll use Simply Applique software (link below) to stitch down the chickens to the background fabric. My background fabric is Chicken Tracks from her Farm Girl Vintage line.
