Are you new to embroidery or haven’t pulled out your embroidery arm in a while? Or maybe you are in a slump and not sure what to make to decorate for the holidays? Well, I hope you’ll join me this next week as I make one of the newest designs from @theHoopSisters Classic Christmas! This adorable wall hanging is quick and easy and I’ll take you through it next week starting Nov 20 at 2pm CST live on my channel. You can definitely finish this before December! Finished dimensions: 14″ x 27″. Minimum hoop size 7″x7″.
This design is made so you can see the tree in the back of the truck through the windows! Cute!

Beginning Monday, Nov 20 at 2-3pm Central time, I’ll be Live on my channel stitching up this cute project. It’s live so you can join in to ask questions and actually stitch right along with me! Can’t make the live? No worries, it will be on replay on my channel for you to watch at your convenience. Also, because it’s live, if something goes wrong (which ALWAYS happens) you’ll see how to handle those issues without drama or fuss. It’s all part of the embroidery journey!
The plan is to use the single needle Brother Luminaire XP3 on the first day and then put Spanky (my Brother 10-needle) to the test the next day. So, no matter what machine you have, you can follow along and stitch with me. You do NOT need a Brother embroidery machine to do this but you DO need a minimum hoop size of a 7″x7″. I’ll be using my 8″x12″ hoop and I’ll be making a red truck version with a kit from Two Chicks Quilting.

You can either get the pattern via digital download or purchase the USB. If you need help to download digital designs and move them to your embroidery machine, there’s a video below to show you how to do that.
If you have Christmas fabric out the wazoo and want to use up your stash, please do! Or, if you want yours to look just like mine, then get your kit from Two Chicks Quilting linked here. The picture on their website is from Hoop Sisters, but the fabric you will receive will look like this image below.

Each piece is labeled so you know exactly what it’s for AND the kit comes with the vinyl for the truck window and the backing! Yay! I detest having to source fabrics. ha ha Hard to see the included vinyl but it’s right on top.

If you don’t have one already, you’ll definitely want to get yourself an early Christmas present and gift yourself a Trimmer by George. This fabulous ruler allows you to trim batting and stabilizer at one time after you’ve removed the project from the hoop, vs. removing the hoop to trim batting during the stitching process and then again to trim the stabilizer after the block is complete. It’s an incredible time saver with gorgeous results! I’m definitely using mine and will show you how it works.

Two Chicks also has Battilizer and the Trimmer by George from Hoop Sisters if you want to just do one-stop shopping. Scroll down the page under the kit to find those items. What is Battilizer? It’s stabilizer and batting all in one. Just hoop the Battilizer and off you go!
I hope you can join me! I’m off to London, England with Sulky on the 24th so I wanted something quick to stitch up and this is the perfect project to finish before the holidays!
Here’s the promised video to show you how to download designs from the internet, unzip them, and take to your machine.
Love the pattern Becky – but as my biggest hoop is 6 x 10 so I am unable to do the pattern along with you. It is very cute.
I love your videos. This looks like a fun project and I will be watching. Thanks for the many videos you do. Enjoy Sulky & London.
