Join Me to Snapplique® the Happy Halloween Quilt by #AmyBradleyDesigns Starts 8 May 24
Oh goodness this quilt is ADORABLE! Want to use your ScanNCut and embroidery machine to do it with me using my Snapplique® method? I can’t wait! There’s a video down below to give you an idea of what Snapplique® is all about.
I will do a pre-recorded video for each block that will be released on my YouTube channel, Power Tools With Thread, on May 8 – 19 2024. I will be on Sew and Sail Cruise 14 during this time, so you’ll get lots of content while I’m gone. 🙂 You’ve got plenty of time to gather your supplies listed below. If this is new to you, recommend spacing out the purchases so it’s not such a shock to your poor wallet all at once. However, the supplies below are in quantities that I buy so that I have them on-hand as needed when the urge hits. That’s important, right?

SUPPLIES: Here’s what you need. Of course, if you already have a stock of this you don’t need to purchase more. I’ve linked to products in the amounts that I buy to have on-hand in my studio. These are either in my Amazon store (meaning I use them and can vouch for their effectiveness) or I’ve linked to other vendors who can provide them.
- The pattern is a download. https://shrsl.com/4fyky
- The fabric kit (Ships in 2-3 weeks) or you can source your own fabrics.
- Background quilting designs by Designs by JuJu (available April 2024). I’ll let you know when they are available.
- HeatNBond Lite
- Embroidery machine with at least a 6×10 hoop or here’s a deal on a Stellaire XJ1 with a free ScanNCut SDX325!
- For hoops with one side larger than 12″ – 15″ wide no show cut away mesh
- For hoops with one side smaller than 12″ – 12″ wide no show cut away mesh
- One white embroidery bobbin – Brother/Baby Lock (Size 15 Class A), or Fil-Tec Magnetic (Size L)

I’m so excited to do this quilt along with you, Becky! Thank you!!!
Would I be able to do this on my 10 needle?
I am going to be doing it on my 15 needle.
I’m in.
That is a great glass of koolaid. I really want to learn this snapllque stuff and I need a birthday for my daughter who loves Halloween in August.
Becky, happy you’re feeling better sending 🙏🏻🙏🏻!
Thank you so much for everything. Can’t wait to get started.
This will be such fun. A brilliant name for the technique. I have fallen in love with the this process Fast , fancy, and FUN. Thanks for sharing so much of your joy and talent. pd
I’m excited about you doing the Amy Bradley Halloween Quilt. The time wasn’t specific. Is it at 8? Is that am or pm and what time zone. I’m in California. I want to put it on my calendar. Thanks Sheila Lazarus
These will be pre-recorded videos that begin on May 8, 2024. You can watch them at any time of day!
I’m doing this! Thank you Becky. There was an advertisement at the end of your blog. is this safe to click on? “2024 coupon code are available”?
So am I understanding this correctly? I purchase the fabric and pattern and then have to digitize the designs myself??? That sounds like a pretty big job for the price.
No, you certainly don’t have to digitize them yourself. You can make it the old fashioned way by stitching down the applique with your domestic machine if you like. However, this will be a great exercise to learn the Snapplique process to apply it to any applique quilt you like. To save some cash, you can source your own fabrics from your stash. 🙂 Hope you can join us!
Thank you, I will watch your snappliqué video to see how this works! Love your blog, one of my favorites! Hope your hand is better!! Cindy
Hi Becky, I Think you put me in the poor house LOL.
I purchased the Halloween Quilt, Embrilliance Essentials, Thumbnailer, Enthusiast and The Rewind with your affiliates. Will I need the SA for the sew a long? I read the pattern, but it doesn’t say how to print out the pattern. Fit to page or actual size?
Just getting ready for when I get back from our cruise.
Thank you for always bring us so much information.
Gloria
I have never done snapplique. but jumping on board with this happy Halloween. kinda scared that it will be out of my scope of abilities but open to learn!!
I have an Embrilliance question. How can I change a satin stitch to a blanket stitch on a bought design.
