New Embroider-Along Beginning Mid-June! Lori Holt’s Autumn Love

Follow along with me as I stitch out Lori Holt’s Autumn Love embroidery quilt! All the supplies are in the post below.

PATTERN UPDATES – You can find embroidery pattern updates in the scrollable image below or you can download it at the link below the scrolling box.

FISHED BLOCK SIZE CHARTS – Here are the finished block sizes for each quilt size.

The details begin at about 24 minutes in my live, linked below. Jump ahead to skip all the chit chat. OR put it on in your sewing room so we can keep each other company. 🙂

I know some of my friends across the miles are just storing their sweaters and swapping flannel sheets for cotton, but the colors, the cool breezes, the cornflower blue skies of Autumn are the envy of any other season. Ah, that first pumpkin-spiced latte of the season is rich in taste, and the farmstands overflow with harvest fresh apples and pumpkins. And always that candy corn that I have to nibble before I remember I don’t like it.

So, I just can’t wait for shorter cooler days to begin Lori Holt’s Autumn Love Embroider Along.

I’ll start Mid-June to give us time to order our kits, and USB files. Don’t delay as these kits tend to sell out quickly, but if they do, ask them to let you know when they have been restocked,

Cue the music, isn’t she lovely? The muted colors in Lori Holt’s autumn collection are just perfection.

Be careful to order Lori Holt’s Autumn Love Embroidery file, not the quilt pattern.

Of course, the kits aren’t mandatory. I am using some Lori Holts stash I have on hand.

The colors are so pretty, with nostalgia woven into every fabric. You just can’t go wrong.

Here are the background quilting choices I’ve made.

As we embroider along together, I’ll share some techniques that will make this project approachable for the beginner, and a skill builder for the both the experienced and the beginner.

I will be using my ScanNCut to prepare the appliques, with the Embrilliance Essentials software.

If you are on that fence about purchasing the ScanNCut, and the Embrilliance software, I strongly encourage you take the plunge. That fence is uncomfortable! As we work together, I will demonstrate step by step how to use them to create this lovely heirloom piece. Can you make it without these? Sure, but if you try them, you will never go back to the old way of tacking down and cutting the excess fabric.

Not sure which ScanNCut to order? See my blog post about it here.

Not sure what the Embrilliance software is about? Click here.

This embroidery project is adorable and doable. Won’t you join me please? It won’t be the same without you.

Becky, I made a test block with the USB a month ago and it really does waste a ton of fabric! I am going to do another test stitch out this week but just using stabilizer and the block outlines only and then scanning those in to my Scan N Cut. Hoping it works cause what they recommend to do is very wasteful.
