WEEKS IN REVIEW 11/17 and 11/24-11/28/2025

The past two weeks in the Stitchuation Room have been shorter weeks than normal, so here’s an update of both. Shorter, but both are jam packed stitchy goodness!

MONDAY 11-24-25 Prim Machine Embroidery Quilt, the Flag Block, the Stitchuation Room

Becky is doing the “Prim Machine Embroidery Quilt” by Lori Holt! Have you joined her? It’s not too late. Prim is an older quilt pattern but (16:01-30:04) Two Chicks Quilting has lined up a great and comparable collection of fabrics. Oh goodness, look at the little farmer boy and the little shepherd girl. They will make a cute couple.

Tuesday 11-24-25 How to Create an Envelope Back for a Pillow, the Stitchuation Room

Becky gave us a peak into her new Dream Box (3:54)! She is organizing her threads, Kimberbell supplies and Lori Holt fabrics and accessories (11:52). She’s using Alpha Clippies or Alpha Bitties to label the boxes. I love watching people organize; Actually, organizing is another story, but there are some great ideas we can all glean from and apply.

Becky’s demonstration of how to create an envelope back for a pillow from Merry & Bright Kimberbell Classic Vol 2 ‘from fabric to finished’ is golden! (22:19). This is a great technique that saves us from bending pins, and finger jabs!

Wednesday11-26-25 Save Stabilizer by Floating Multiple Hoopings, the Stitchuation Room

Wednesday Becky demonstrated a technique for saving stabilizer by floating multiple hoopings (12:26) using DBJJ TearEZ Stabilizer . Such a time and money saver.

Becky showed us how she prepares to start a new project, selecting threads using a system based on color names rather than numbers (33:50).

Friday, 11-28-25 Use Zig Glue to Re-stick a Cutting Mat, Giveaway Friday, the Stitchuation Room

It was a pumpkin pie for breakfast day in the Stitchuation Room!
