Tuesday, Unboxing the Brother BX1 Combo Machine, Side-by-Side Comparisons, Stitchuation Room, 10/13/26
Meet Calamity Jane: The Brother BX1
Becky introduces us to her new Brother BX1 Expedition combination sewing and embroidery machine, affectionately nicknamed Calamity Jane, or CJ. She takes us on a tour of the machine. Oh, goodness, I must write to Santa about this.

One of the first things that stands out are the large touchscreen and the 8 × 14-inch embroidery hoop.
But what gave me BX1 envy was the needle plate release button, which makes removing the needle plate more convenient for cleaning or maintenance.
Becky appreciates the BX1’s larger screen and hoop capacity. CJ will be traveling with Becky for sure.
Mulqueen Sewing took good care of her, and they would love to tell you about more features. Let them know that Becky gave you their contact info.

Wednesday, Weathervane Block, #CelebratingAmericaQAL, the Stitchuation Room, 14 Oct 26
Becky works on the Weathervane block for the #CelebratingAmericaQAL. She walks viewers through assembling the corner units, paying attention to directional fabrics and seam alignment so the design comes together correctly.
Getting accurate quilt blocks takes a little care, but Becky shows us how.

Kimberbell Bella Box Peppermint Cheer
The Kimberbell Bella Box is a twice-a-year subscription service for embroidery lovers, shipping once in the spring and once in the fall. Each box typically includes five or six unique projects.

Becky plans to feature the projects from this box on her channel in upcoming videos!
Have you tried a Quarter Inch Seam Guide Ruler from Creative Grids? It’s excellent for accurate piecing. Becky draws precise lines for half-square or quarter-square triangles. Fat Quarter Shop carries them.

Becky highly recommends The Fat Quarter Shop Swig coffee mug for its functionality and festive design. What a nice gift.
Also, it’s super cute!

For Becky, stitching is a creative outlet and a source of comfort during difficult times. How about you?

Check out the Beach Potato Flying Geese Bag at this link. Becky will be making it on a livestream as a dedicated sew-along outside of the Stitchuation Room. It’s so pretty! Pre-order now.

Enjoy the replay!
#DBJJ November Monthly Mini Quilt, Block A, the Stitchuation Room, 10/16/26
Becky juggles embroidery projects while sharing tips for getting better results from your machines! It was so much fun watching her work a couple machines at a time. I know others do, but I have enough trouble concentrating on one machine!
