Sweet Pea Cross Designs are 50% Off thru May 29th!
I absolutely love Sweet Pea embroidery designs and they are having 50% off their Cross Designs May 25th – 29th. Sweet Pea is a company out of Australia and they have some of the best-digitized designs on the market.

If you have an embroidery machine that you’ve been a little intimidated of, or you have an embroidery arm on your sewing machine that you haven’t put through it’s paces, then this might be a great project for you. You’ll be surprised how easy these really are. Each design comes in different dimensions so be sure to check your manual to see what sized designs your machine can handle. For instance, if your machine can stitch at least 5×7 designs, then this St. James Cross design would be a fun project. If the largest design your machine can stitch is a 4×4, then it’s time for a new embroidery machine! Yay! You can also determine your machine’s max hoop size by looking at the hoop(s) that came with your machine.
Look how the stitcher used cork in this gorgeous “He is Risen” hanger! This would look great on the walls in my son’s church next Easter.
Machine embroidery is no longer just stitching on shirts or adding a name to a backpack. Companies are now creating designs that use a combination of machine applique and an assembly process called ’tiling’ where separate hoopings are trimmed and then sewn together with a sewing machine to create a gorgeous final project.
I’m adding this Cross and Christmas Flowers to my cart right now. I’ll be doing a sew along for this design in October. I love the use of the metallic fabric in this design.
They are offering half off all Cross hangers and runners May 25th – 29th so now is the time to snatch them up!
Are you unsure if you can do this? I did a how-to video series on the Easter Lily Cross that even a beginner can follow. Can you do this? Of course you can!
Here is Part 1.
Here is Part 2
These designs are a great project to use DIME’s KingStar Metallic Threads. The BEST on the market! They don’t kink or break and I just love them! If you’ve struggled with metallic threads before, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the quality of these.

Here’s a video demo of these threads.
We have a Power Tools With Thread FaceBook group too. If you’ve made one of these beautiful Cross designs, jump over to the FB group and please share your beautiful finishes!
