We’re Home! My Latest Video Showing Some New Goodies That Came While We Were Gone
We’ve returned from our Gulf Coast Quilt Shop Tour 2022 and what a trip it was! From Texas to Key West to Alabama…whew! Over 3,400 miles of pure FUN! I have to tell you…being retired is AWESOME! We left April 24 and returned on May 28.
While we were on the trip, I ordered a new Brother ScanNCut SDX325 so I can learn how to make the thing talk to my Luminaire and then show you how to do it too. My goal is to be able to cut out applique fabric pieces straight from the embroidery machine to the SNC with no other software required. I’m positive I can do it and as soon as I figure it out, I’ll show you!
I came home to a full mail tub of USPS mail that was on hold while we were gone, and my trip to the UPS store filled my car and my cutting table! LOL
I made a quick video showing some cool goodies that arrived. I’ll do a full ‘Haul’ video later this week. There’s just too much to show. 🙂

Glad you and Keith arrived back home safe and sound. I bought the scan and cut 325 DX for my Christmas present. I do not have a Luminare but with your awesome directions I was able to use it for the Chicken placemats from Designs by Ju Ju. What a breeze to not have to hand cut those appliqué pieces out.
Can’t wait to see your haul.
I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip. I live in Ocala Florida and wish I could have had the opportunity to visit with you. Maybe next time we could arrange a group of us and all go to lunch. Let us know, I will be glad to arrange it. I too have the 325 and love love it. I do not have the Solaris but I do have a Janome 15,000 and Simply Applique and also have the 650W so if I can be of help to the Janome owners I will be glad to help. Love that you are back. So Happy You and Keith made it home safely. After the little car pulled in front of you the other day. I am
excited to hear about the haul waiting at home for you. I loved the Seam Shoppe the most of all your visits. Thank you so much for sharing your vacation with us. It was amazing. Thanks, Jeannie Stone
