It’s Monday in the Stitchuation Room, and Becky’s got sewing projects, organizational updates, and upcoming plans.

The top of the drawer unit gave me a great idea, and I absolutely have label envy. You can get Becky’s label maker here. Hurry! It’s a deal on Amazon Prime Day!

Pumpkins and Licorice Machine Embroidery by Lori Holt
This is a Riley Blake Designs machine embroidery project, not a quilting pattern. Two Chicks Quilting is offering a wall-hanging size kit for this project with gray or orange borders. Tough choice! Becky has chosen the dark gray border version. Contact them if you want a bigger size.
Pre-orders are going on now, although the project is scheduled to ship to stores in March 2027. Jump on this pumpkin wagon now, so you are assured the kits are available. (33:14)

May 2026 Hoop Studio Subscription
Spoiler alert! Becky shows the May 2026 Hoop Studio Doorstep Subscription. Subscribers receive all the fabric, embellishments, and towel blanks to complete the month’s designs and a wooden quilt rack for the embroidered towels. Oh, my goodness, my counter space is severely limited. Out goes the toaster to make room. There’s a super cute, slice-of-cake-themed embroidery design! Can anyone say YUM? (24:08)

Enjoy this fun replay.
Embroidery with My Granddaughter! The Stitchuation Room, 4 June 26
Becky enjoyed a day of creating with her grandchildren. She shows us their haul.
Becky has some great projects coming up and many of the kits can be accessed at Two Chicks Quilting.
Becky describes how to sew buttons on with a sewing machine. I have to try this. What a game changer for me. The pillow is from a recent Hoop Studio Monthly Embroidery Subscription.

Becky also reviews some solutions to sewing machine glitches including what to do about a bird’s nest nightmare? The Bird’s Nest Repair Kit by OESD/DIME to the rescue! The kit includes a long, surgical-steel blade that allows you to gently lift the hoop to slice away tangled threads from underneath without forcing the mechanism or damaging the project. This surely beats the steak knife I use. (16:18)

The Autumn Acres Bench Pillow is available at My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe. Snatch this up if you want to join Becky as she stitches. These will fly off the shelves.

Becky’s been working on the Kimberbell Home Sewn mini quilt from Volume 1.

The black grunge is absolutely perfect!

Shopping Haul from Ruth’s Stitchery & Notebook Cover Finish! The Stitchuation Room, 5 Jun 26
Oh, the shopping haul is fun today, and we are going to want it all. Well, I know I am.
The Lori Holt Zippy Bags Panels are really well thought out, and the colors are the Lori Holt color families we love. Becky will be doing these on her program. There will be no crying allowed, or even necessary regarding the zippers. Do them with her!

Spring in the Southwest is feeling like summer, but Becky’s lining up her fall projects, have you noticed? And fall leads to Christmas, Holly, and visions of the Nutcracker Ballet. I’m in. My granddaughter needs this Nutcracker Panel. What do you think? Something to hang on her wall, or maybe as a cuddly blanket. with a Minky backing? SEW sweet!

Enjoy the visit as you Sew Something! Enjoy your weekend creatively!
