Washed Wood Fabric on Sale from #SewingPartsOnline – More than Just Machine Parts and Pieces
Hi friends, Maureen here. This fabric is amazing. I saw them and immediately thought of weathered barns, remote lake-side cabins, and the cottages along the coasts that stand up to winter, wind and salty seawater. Things that stand the test of time. Like our quilts. #SewingPartsOnline has really upped their game to now offer FABRIC and notions just like a quilt store. Yay! Who doesn’t love another fabric source? Be sure to sign up for their emails.

This Marine Blue is stunning, isn’t it? Reminds me of a cottage on Cape Cod.

And this one? A sturdy old barn or schoolhouse.

The Washed Wood Fabric Collection is inspired by rustic charm and nature. From driftwood grays, soft whites and earthy browns, they are great for the modern, and the traditional vintage-inspired quilts.
It didn’t take a deep dive to get inspired.

Cute for fencing in this adorable quilt. Leave a comment below if you’re a Corey Yoder fan!

Perfect for houses. Use the link for Becky’ Etsy search.
This quilt isn’t done in Wood Fabric, but isn’t it ‘Pine-ing away’ to be done in it?

This pattern is available on the Sewing Parts Online site. Stitchers beware! I can envision so many quilts in these serene colors.

The modern patterns I found on Sewing Parts Online would also look great.

Pretty in Pink, step aside. We’re going rustic for those quick projects for the upcoming holidays.

These two would make great backings, don’t you think?

This morning, I was stuffing fabric into an already full plastic container, so I was amused when Becky sent me the news that Sewing Parts Online was offering a discount on boards for storing fabric.

Sewing parts Online offers Fabric Organizers from DeNiece’s Designs. They can store up to 10 yards of fabric! I can see them for fabric strips, binding, fat quarters, and even ribbon which always get beat up in boxes. Could I make them? Well, not in acid-free corrugated plastic that will not hurt my fabric and are reusable.

Choose from three sizes: 10-1/2″x 7″, 10″x 14″, or 5″x 14″. The small ones are out of stock but let them know you want them, and they’ll notify you when they are re-stocked.
Won’t they look cute on a sewing shelf? We can all look like we have little fabric shops!
What are we waiting for? Let’s get those storage boards, stock up on the wood fabrics, and Go Sew Something!

Fine work with words, Maureen đŸ™‚ Lots of interesting fabrics and ideas. Love it.
